The most important thing you can do before you begin any kitchen or bath project is to determine your budget. Yeah, we know, it’s not fun thinking about this part. But at some point you’ll need to pay for your project, so it’s best to consider that up front. Determining a firm budget early on helps every part of the process that follows, especially the design phase, as choices can be made to give you the room of your dreams without stretching what you’re willing to spend.

Okay, this is the fun part. You need to be able to answer the question: When I walk into my new room, what do I want to see? Visit our showroom, scour the internet, tear pages out of magazines, collect paint swatches and put it all together in one place that you can share with your designer. This material should tell your designer what your style is and give them a feel for the look you want in your new kitchen or bath.

Beyond a striking paint color or a beautiful light fixture, everyone has a number of things that they must have in their new room to feel satisfied. To help convey this to your designer, make a list. You can start by listing annoyances with your current room that you’d like to fix. Maybe you don’t have enough prep area in your kitchen, or you don’t have enough storage space in your bathroom. Put these on the list. Start adding to it features that you want to have in your new room: led lighting, soft-close drawers, heated flooring, or an island with seating for five. Whatever they are, putting them down on paper and giving them to your designer ensures that you’re both on the same page as they design your room.

Our professionally-trained and certified designers look forward to meeting with you to discuss your new room. Visit our showroom or schedule an appointment, and you will be assigned one designer for your project who will guide you through the entire process. At your first visit, be sure to bring all of your previously gathered materials to get the discussion going quickly. Our designer will go over your ideas and requirements with you to learn what you’re interested in achieving with this new room. With their years of knowledge, they’ll offer tips and considerations as they walk through each part of the room with you. This is a conversation. Our designers listen to what you have to say, so that they can design a room that best fits your needs.

After meeting with our designer, if you liked what you heard, the next step is determining what we have to work with. Our designer will visit your home to take photographs and measurements of your current space. They will also take note of any pieces that will need to be reused, structural issues and adjoining rooms where transitions will be needed after the new project is installed. If this is new construction, you or your contractor can provide the blueprints from which we can obtain the measurements.

Now knowing the room measurements and what your requirements are for your project, our designer sets to work creating the kitchen or bath of your dreams. Using sophisticated design software, our designers will select the perfect cabinetry and completely lay it out in a 3-D representation, so you can see your dream space before you move ahead. They will also begin selection of countertops, paint colors, tile and fixtures based on the inspirational material you’ve provided and discussed.

Once they have completed their design for you, our designer will call you to schedule an appointment for the presentation of your room design. At the appointment, you will see your kitchen in 3-D and the designer will talk you through each area of the room and why they designed it like they did. They will provide you with the options they’ve determined for paint colors, countertops, fixtures and other associated items. Also at the appointment, you will be provided with a preliminary quote.

A follow-up appointment will be made that will give you sufficient time to finalize all of your choices. At this appointment, you will walk through every decision in the room and make a final determination of how you would like to proceed with each. Once these choices are made, our designer will provide you with a final quote for your new room.

At the acceptance of the quote, you will need to make a down payment on your new room. Once the down payment is made, scheduling begins and your cabinets are ordered.

Our designer will work with a professional installer to schedule the installation of your new room. We understand that in most cases, you’ll be living in the home while construction happens, so we will work with you to determine the best time based on your life. On new construction, we can fit this into your timeline so that is aligns with your overall production schedule.

Whether it is a new kitchen or bathroom, once installation is complete, it’s time to enjoy your new space.
